I have an urgent requirement for the position of Windchill technical Lead in Remote with one of our Client. Role: Windchill technical Lead Location: Remote Contract Primary: Knowledge of Medical Device terminology and Windchill PLM Development capabilities. Review, recommend and design solutions using OOTB capabilities of Windchill in lieu of customizations. Strong understanding of Windchill workflows and customization capabilities / Knowledge of Windchill user interface (UI) customization techniques. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Understanding of change management processes, specifically related to impact assessments. Strong understanding of Windchill reporting capabilities (e.g., WTForms, XSL) and report generation. Experience with Windchill outbound integrations, particularly using Windchill APIs or adapters. Experience in extending Windchill functionalities using Windchill customization tools (e.g., Workflow, Part Builder, UI Extension). Proficiency in a scripting language like JavaScript or Java for Windchill customization (if using Windchill scripting). Understanding of Windchill Business Rules for defining logic and validations within workflows. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills / Ability to work effectively in a team environment /Strong communication and documentation skills. Secondary: Proven leadership and project management skills (e.g., Scrum Master) / Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven proficiency in advanced configurations and development of extensions for Windchill applications. Support for Windchill annual upgrades, CPS patches using PTC best practices. In-depth knowledge of Java language and core libraries Proficient in working in Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and Waterfall delivery model. Proficient in using Azure DevOps for development process. Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing code changes during development. Experience with UI design principles for creating a user-friendly interface for the harmonized change notification process. Technical writing skills, necessary to maintain design documentation.
