Role: Project Manager 3 (740282) Location: Atlanta, GA 30334 (Local) Rate: $70/hr on c2c MAX Note: PMP Copy Required, need to upload Job Description: Under limited supervision, manages projects through the full life cycle from project definition and approval through implementation and evaluation of all project deliverables. Provides guidance to the project team. May also serve in a lead role. Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta The IT Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects, and therefore oversees all aspects of the project using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes. A PM has duties to perform at each phase of a project to maintain schedule timeline, within budget and deliver a quality project. The IT Project Manager must develop, clarify, and manage the scope of the project and prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of each project. PM applies project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in supporting project leads and driving the development and application of project management methodology and culture. Primary Responsibilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND FIVE years of RECENT relevant project management experience, with a progression in responsibility. 1. 10 years PM experience managing medium to large scale IT projects 2 . Current PMP Certification 3 . At least 3 years IT consulting experience. 4. SCRUM Master and/or Product Owner Experience 5. Advanced proficiency in System Development Life Cycle AND Agile methodology 6. Proficient in Microsoft Tools, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, and Azure DevOps 7. Skilled at conflict resolution 8. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 9.
