They are looking for Engineers to help with the transformation and build new features. They use AWS specifically glue services, S3, lambda, and Fargate/ECS. For programming Scala, Python. For data processing they use Spark. They also use SQL. Testing wise they set up automation suites, so need someone with an automation mind set. They are building out new features, and these features need to be tested. EDML LOB data and machine learning Team is based in Richmond and Mclean, and they do not have a preference on one location over the other. This team is building out this new applications, and essentially revamping an old application. These applications are internally facing. They use Glue to run the batch jobs, and the step functions (orchestrated) are executed by lambdas and S3 is where the data moves through, and then ECS is where the APIs are hosted. Essentially looking for a Engineer who can do software engineering, data engineering, automation, and testing.
