An early response is really appreciated Job Title: QA Production Support Analyst Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Production Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our production systems and applications. This role requires a strong background in quality assurance, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Production Support: Provide timely and effective support for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution. Monitor production systems and applications for performance, stability, and security. Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to resolve issues and deploy fixes. Quality Assurance: Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for production systems. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Ensure all changes to production systems are thoroughly tested and validated. Maintain documentation of test results, issues, and resolutions. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within QA and production support activities. Implement best practices for QA and production support to enhance efficiency and quality. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in retrospectives. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality. Provide regular updates on production support activities, issues, and resolutions. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, production support, or related roles. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies. Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages. Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Experience with cloud-based environments and services. Familiarity with database management and SQL. Certifications in QA or relevant technologies. Looking forward to work with you !!
