An early response is really appreciated Role: Azure Database Administrator Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Visa : No H1B 12 months Job Description Deploying, monitoring and managing database instances in Azure, using CI/CD and IaC (Infra as Code). Can document SOPs and implement cloud-based security policies and procedures. Can work collaboratively with App Dev, App Support and Infosec teams. Expertise in Azure SQL, Snowflake and Azure Data Factory Thorough knowledge of Azure DevOps Experience with supporting Enterprise Application Databases across Dev, QA, UAT and Production Hands on experience with Power BI and Azure Synapse (optional) Familiarity with Azure data technologies: Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Datalake etc. Proven track record in database tuning, scaling and performance management Strong knowledge in system management languages especially Terraform Multiple scripting languages in your toolbox (e.g. Python, GO, PERL, or Powershell) Experience using building infrastructure via CLI in an automated, repeatable manner Knowledge of containerization (e.g. Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS) Skills Problem solving Issue resolution Decision-making Able to synthesize information leading to recommendations of solutions Communication across all levels written and verbal Attention to detail with ability to align with the big picture Multi-tasking Influencing others Challenging professionally Relationship management Looking forward to work with you !!
