| Title: Golang Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Only local candidates Duration: Contract Coding questionnaire in Round 1 of Interview - Followed by 2nd round interview with a coding exercise as well Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) 5 years of experience in software development or a related field 4 years of experience in database technologies 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC). Job Description: Develop high-quality, scalable back-end code utilizing Go for REST API development, SQL database development and maintenance, unit tests, and design documentation. Ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in software development and engineering principles. Serve as a subject matter expert for Go Development. Code and test software based on software specifications and designs. Analyze and scrutinize complex system requirements. Design software tools and subsystems to facilitate reuse and domain software development. Employ sound software engineering principles to ensure the developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant. Provide software process management and control throughout the coding phase of the software development process. Need someone hands-on and who can ramp-up with minimum guidance 3 years of Go development and 5 years of overall development experience. Golang framework experience - Gin/Gin-Gonic (Preferred), Echo, Kit PostgreSQL database experience required. Relational Database (RDMS) experience is a must. NoSQL would be fine if strong Golang experience is there! SCRUM/Kanban development model. Look at the existing backlog of code and optimize so the product can be delivered on time. Front-End is React framework, but this person will be working on the back end which is Golang based. Required Experience: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience. 3+ years of experience in Go development. Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in designing, developing, and documentation of REST API endpoints. Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
