About the Role Client is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Collection. corporate research division that focuses on advanced technology development for applications across all Client product lines including Automotive, Lifestyle (consumer), and Professional. The Data Collection team works with test subjects (data participants) to collect real-time data in lab simulators and in vehicles which involves acquiring images, videos, ECG, EEG and other Biosignals to support the Machine Learning for our driver monitoring system. The manager will lead all aspects of data collection, and data quality control for our US sites. Your Team This position has 10 direct reports What You Will Do Lead and develop a team of Engineering Technicians and Data collection operators Lead data collection activities for multiple sites in the US Execute, supervise, and report data collection activities in accordance with the approved protocols Perform QA and provide feedback on data quality to other team members and management Ensure our data collection equipment are maintained and running efficiently Manage and assign resources to support data collection at multiple sites and ensure schedules for data collection labs are run at an optimal level Work with external vendors to manage test subject acquisition and optimize the test subject experience in our data collection labs Monitor team performance and coach team members to attain high team productivity Work with legal and compliance team to ensure all data collection activities are performed per local data privacy laws What You Need Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent 8+ years in data management 4+ years experience managing teams of engineering technician preferably in the information technology industry Experience in organizing work groups, training staffs, and ensuring quality compliance Ability to work with incomplete technical information Strong organizational and management skills, with an ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment Quality focused and accuracy whilst performing repetitive tasks Extended understanding of hardware with respect to data management: I/O throughputs, caching technologies Ability to resolve workplace issues effectively Commitment to team productivity and work quality Ability to work in a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels Experience in developing scripts (e.g., in Python) for general data processing Experience with Hardware assembly and maintenance (e.g. PCs, Cameras) Experience with large scale data collection Ability to identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality Experience with CI tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira What Makes You Eligible Willingness to travel 10% Willingness to work in an office/lab.
