You will be responsible for leading the technical direction for security accreditations, synthetic data generation, and MLOps practices within the AWS data environment. Must Have Skills: Secure Data Platform Designing: Experience in designing & developing secure Data Platforms Lead the team in achieving and maintaining relevant security accreditations for our AWS data platforms. Collaborate with security teams to ensure ongoing compliance with security regulations. At least 3 days in office at Plano Office Defined and implemented technical architecture for AWS data platforms. Proficient in evaluating technical trade-offs. Provided technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Hands on Sr. AWS Engineer driving platform Development in consultation with Client & Security Teams Stayed up to date with the latest advancements in security implementation and Test Data Generation on AWS. Good to have Skills: Protegrity: tokenization, anonymization, and key management. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Protegrity implementations. Assist with the design, configuration, and deployment of Protegrity solutions to meet specific customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, security) to ensure seamless integration of Protegrity with existing infrastructure. Possess in-depth knowledge of Protegrity data security solutions, including data encryption, Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing data platforms on AWS. Proven experience in achieving and maintaining security accreditations for cloud environments. In-depth knowledge of security best practices for data protection and access control in the cloud. Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell and Infrastrture as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. GitHub,Synthetic/Test Data Generation , Denodo, Data Catalog You will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation and integration of GitHub, synthetic/test data generation tools, Denodo, and a Data Catalog, ensuring all aspects adhere to robust data security, streamlined data flows, and comprehensive data governance practices. At least 3 days in office at Plano Office Secure GitHub Implementation: Design ,implement, Integrate a secure GitHub environment for enterprise-grade code management and collaboration for data projects. Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) within GitHub to manage infrastructure provisioning securely on AWS. Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure access between GitHub and AWS resources. Configure access controls, user permissions, and branch protection rules to enforce secure coding practices. Integrate security scanning tools within GitHub workflows to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in code. Denodo Possess a deep understanding of Denodo Data Integrator and its capabilities in data integration, virtualization, and abstraction. Design and implement efficient data flows within the Denodo platform to integrate diverse data sources seamlessly. Optimize Denodo performance to ensure fast and reliable data delivery to consumers. Develop and maintain reusable data services for efficient data access. Secure Data Catalog Implementation Lead the selection and implementation of a Data Catalog tool suitable for our secure AWS data platform. Configure and manage the Data Catalog to ingest metadata from various data sources within the AWS environment. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to encourage data lineage tracking and tagging within the Data Catalog. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures for data catalog usage and metadata management. Implement data masking and role-based access controls (RBAC) within the Data Catalog to restrict access to sensitive data. Monitor and maintain data security best practices within the Data Catalog environment. Synthetic/Test Data Generation Design and implement strategies for generating high-fidelity synthetic data using 3rd party tools ML Models and Analytics application on Non-Prod environments Select and utilize appropriate tools and techniques for Test data generation on AWS platforms. Ensure the synthetic data adheres to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
