Title: Agile Product Owner Location: Atlanta area (Hybrid),Ga,Local Duration: Long- Term Interview: Skype Client:: Atos Visa: USC or GC only (Need Local Candidate) Linkedin must Must live in Atlanta, GA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. As an Agile Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers value to the business and customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, plan sprints, and drive product success. Key Responsibilities: Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Align product goals with business objectives and customer needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features. Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog. Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed requirements. Ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by the development team. Sprint Planning and Execution: Lead sprint planning sessions to define sprint goals and select backlog items for development. Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and execute sprints. Review and accept completed user stories, ensuring they meet the definition of done. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with product goals. Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback, market trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Prioritize and implement product enhancements and optimizations. Participate in retrospectives and incorporate feedback to improve team performance and product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, requirements, and user stories. Generate reports and dashboards to track product performance and progress. Prepare and present product updates to senior management and stakeholders. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 7-10 + years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment. Enterprise experience is required for the role Proven experience managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and leading sprint planning. The candidate must have worked in an environment using SAP. SAP ECC knowledge would be fine. Any exposure to S4 is a big plus. Any experience working with SAP S/4 Hana, Ariba & Fieldglass is a nice to have Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g.;, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus Strong knowledge of procurement services and processes The client is looking for someone that has worked in the procurement / sourcing space and understands overall contract functions. Extensive experience gathering requirements from the business to include executives and stakeholders in the procurement / sourcing space. Any experience working with the accounts payable and engineering teams is a plus. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Proficiency in Agile tools and software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello). Familiarity with software development processes and technologies. Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the technology or software development industry. Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
