Title: WMS Engineer Location:Fully Remote Duration : 6 months contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description: About the job Required Experience and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in Warehouse Execution System development and automation on the business logic side. Strong programming skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes is a plus. Experience with integrating Warehouse Execution System with other warehouse management systems and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in JDA, Moca, Java, SQL is mandatory. Responsibilities: WES Development: Design, develop, and maintain the Warehouse Execution System (WES) to support the efficient and automated operation of our temperature-controlled warehouses. Business Logic Automation: Implement automation solutions for various warehouse processes, including order management, inventory control, and task prioritization, to improve operational efficiency and accuracy. Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the WES with other systems and technologies, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and automated material handling equipment. Customization: Customize and configure the WES to meet specific warehouse requirements, ensuring that it aligns with operational goals. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of WES functionalities to identify and resolve issues promptly. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of WES configurations, code, and system changes. Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation enhancements, and system optimizations to streamline warehouse operations.
