Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to bring modern machine learning and optimization models into production. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, software development engineers, strategic partners, product managers, and domain experts. Your role involves integrating models developed by data scientists with the companys platform, building APIs, developing user interfaces, and implementing monitoring capabilities. Candidate should have: 5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, integrating, and running business, big data, and/or data science applications. 1-2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS as a developer. Experience developing Angular applications. Experience with Java, SQL, and building REST APIs. Proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions, Aurora, S3, and API Gateway. Experience with infrastructure-as-code using AWS tools (e.g., Cloud Development Kit, CloudFormation). Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Git, GitLab, Jenkins). Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., VersionOne, JIRA). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with design patterns and implementation for machine learning and data science products. Experience with microservices architecture. Understanding or experience with loosely coupling front-end modules on AWS. Experience with Docker, OpenShift, and AWS infrastructure management. Knowledge of data engineering and big data. Experience with Redux/Flux/NgRx store implementation. Experience developing, testing, and deploying APIs using Python-based frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, GraphQL). Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB). Experience with AWS Machine Learning tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker). Experience with data visualization frameworks (e.g., D3). Strong focus on business outcomes and teamwork skills. Functional knowledge of the airline business or airline IT processes. Job Responsibilities: Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to operationalize machine learning and optimization models. Build data APIs and data delivery services for Deltas internal business operations, customers, and partners. Ensure successful development and deployment of model code, data pipelines, APIs, and user interfaces. Troubleshoot issues and support production applications. Integrate code into Deltas on-premise and AWS cloud environments. Transform data science prototypes into production-ready software products. Ensure good data flow between database and backend systems. Optimize solutions for performance and scalability. Implement Deltas methodology, standards, and procedures. Ensure solutions meet customer business goals and satisfaction. Coordinate activities with internal and external technology service providers. Consult with project team members, other Delta teams, and external vendors to ensure product integrity. Thank you!
