Client: Virtusa Job Description : As a Lab Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in leading Automotive partners inbound/outbound logistics and in managing lab warehouse operations to support the testing of cutting-edge automotive technology. This role also offers occasional opportunities to contribute to Quality Assurance (QA) testing, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Analyze inventory and trends to design for future growth. Develop and implement inventory strategies, policies, and governance mechanisms. Establish inventory targets for raw components based on usage, forecast volatility, and financial risk. Supply Chain and Logistics: Manage logistics with Global Automotive OEMs and internal stakeholders. Identify dependencies between the supply chain and internal operations. Support in Unpacking incoming inventory, packing outgoing returns. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management and E&O reduction. Work with cross-functional teams to refine tools and processes for better end-to-end inventory control. Metrics and Reporting: Develop KPIs and measurement metrics for Supply Chain operations. Regular monitoring and Reporting of Inventory updates QA Support (as needed): Participate in testing Android Automotive hardware and software components. Identify and report issues, ensuring a high-quality user experience. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to understand and work with different personalities, managing stakeholders. Experience creating replicable processes. Experience with shipping logistics Comfortable handling hardware tools Ability to lift heavy objects occasionally weighing 45~200lbs using stacker, lifts. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the automotive or technology industry. Familiarity with Android Automotive or other in-vehicle infotainment systems. Experience with Quality Assurance processes and methodologies. Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
