This position will be on-site in Malvern, PA or Scottsdale, AZ! Please DO NOT submit candidates who are not willing to work on-site Day 1. Overview: The selected candidate will join our team on the Production Support team, providing critical production support to our trading teams. This position is essential for ensuring the stability and performance of our trading applications and supporting infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Application Support: Provide intermediate-level support for trading and portfolio management applications, which are a blend of proprietary and third-party solutions, including SaaS platforms and AWS microservices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and business issues related to trading applications, ensuring minimal disruption to portfolio management and trading activities. System Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Continuously monitor production systems for alerts, outages, and performance issues. Conduct root cause analysis for system issues and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence. Ensure all support requests are resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs) and communicate status updates to stakeholders. Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners, including portfolio managers, traders, and IT teams. Actively participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of three years of related work experience, with at least one year in Information Technology, preferably in a financial services or trading environment. Prior experience in a production trading environment, either on the buy-side or sell-side, is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in supporting any Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language (e.g., Java, C#, Python). Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is required to automate routine tasks and support system maintenance. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems. Ability to write and understand SQL for querying and managing data in relational databases.
