| From: Salil, Smart Source Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title : Delphi Programmer Location : Albany, NY Duration : 6 months+ Extension Mode of interview : 1) Video Mode of Work : Onsite work in office at Albany, NY Client : Direct Client Pay Rate : $70 - C2C Daily Duties / Responsibilities: Migrate selected UCP applications from Advantage Data Architect to Oracle database using ITS database platform to prepare for a disaster recovery site. Consultants will be responsible for designing the Oracle database to mirror a 1:1 migration from Advantage Data Architecture to Oracle. Consultants will make modifications to Delphi programs to accommodate the new database and data types. Consultants will be responsible for migrating all data, modifying software programs, deploying applications to ITS platforms, testing and maintaining applications. Work with ITS to gather requirements to migrate systems one by one from UCP infrastructure to ITS infrastructure conducting a 1:1 database migration and minimizing changes to critical applications to mitigate unintended changes. Design and develop Oracle databases. Modify Delphi applications to integrate with Oracle databases. Migrate Data Deploy application completing unit, integrated and regression testing. Monitor migrated application for unintended changes. Maintain applications. Develop and execute interim plans to continue day to day operations while operating on 2 different platforms until all programs are migrated.
