Preferred: Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the role. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in software development. At least 2 years of experience with SQL/SQL Server technologies. Preferred: Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or BillingCenter development (Gosu/configuration/Integration). Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle. Proficiency in writing configurable, maintainable, and testable code in a collaborative environment. Proven troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques. Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures. Awareness of technology trends related to software applications. Experience in building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking. Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Skills: Expertise in J2EE/Java, foundational frameworks, design patterns, and programming. Familiarity with Guidewire Policy and Billing Center framework and GOSU language. Proficiency in ANSI SQL. Basic Unix/Linux commands for log monitoring. Experience with Service-Now for incident management. Proficiency in Jira for defect management. Familiarity with IBM Tivoli for job/batch management. Experience with AppDynamics for application performance monitoring. Proficiency in Splunk for machine-generated data monitoring. Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Personal Attributes: Highly self-motivated and directed. Quick to absorb new ideas and concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
