From: Arpitha S, Stellar IT Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] GIS Analyst Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote) Position: NCDOT - Specialist- Expert Duration: 12+ Months Short Description: Position supports the enterprise Roads & Highways product as well as implements data QAQC and advanced data processing to support the statewide LRS network. Complete Description: ***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite. ***Personal equipment is expected to be used for remote work. They will connect to DOT's network using their device/internet and then use a virtual machine via Citrix. Once the agency return to site, the contractor will be provided a desktop. Advanced GIS Analyst Expected Skills: 1. Advanced experience with Esris Roads & Highways 2. Advanced experience in GIS analysis, including the Esri suite of products 3. Advanced experience working with linear referencing systems 4. Strong knowledge and understanding of GIS principals, theories and practices 5. Strong skills in development of analysis procedure, complex system integration, software configuration management, and business analysis 6. Experience troubleshooting and providing customer support 7. Experience working with large, relational databases 8. Experience with integrating and implementing complex technology solutions Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Designing, developing, and implementing GIS analytic processes such as change detection and geoprocessing workflows 2. Developing and executing advanced queries or scripts 3. Maintaining roadway centerline and linear referenced data using Esri Roads & Highways 4. Utilizing GIS and organizational best practices to maintain and manage GIS layers 5. Developing and documenting workflows, standards, and best practices 6. Developing and executing test plans for all levels of system testing 7. Scheduling meetings and coordinating project deliverables 8.
