Key areas of responsibility daily for this position include: Extensive knowledge and experience in the Procurement of goods and services for governmental agencies to make objective decisions and accurate judgments. Exceptional writing & listening skills are required. Ability to follow instructions explicitly and be detailed-orientated. Working knowledge & experience of state policies and regulations. Procure Information Technology goods/services such as software, equipment & other commodities as assigned. Comprehend, apply, and interpret established rules and regulations, complex technical contract language. SKILLS Thorough knowledge and understanding of large- and small-scale purchasing methods and procedures. (RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, Amendments) Working knowledge of General Statutes, NC Administrative Code, and State Information Technology Term Contracts. Ability to train individuals on policy and procedures as it pertains to procurement at DIT-T Excellent communication skills, both orally and written. Gather, organize, assemble, and write extensive documents Complex technical information into specifications, drawings, and/or special requirements as needed according to State and /or Project requirements Excellent interpersonal skills with all types of personalities meeting all deadlines and maintaining records of complexity and confidential nature Keywords: |
