Roles and Responsibilities: Lead E2E Testing Efforts: Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of end-to-end testing activities across a number of retail systems and applications. Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. Test Automation and Management: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Utilize test management tools to track and manage test cases, defects, and test execution. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements and test coverage. Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams to coordinate testing efforts and ensure timely delivery. Quality Assurance: Ensure all retail systems, including POS, e-commerce platforms, inventory management, and customer service applications, meet high-quality standards. Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing to identify and resolve defects. Performance and Security Testing: Collaborate with relevant teams to conduct performance and security testing, ensuring that all applications perform well under load and adhere to security best practices. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance. Experience: 10+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on end-to-end testing. Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams, preferably in the retail industry. Strong background in test automation and experience with frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Domain Knowledge: Understanding of retail systems, including POS, inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and customer service applications. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager, Certified Test Manager). Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
