Job Description - Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12+ Months MOI: Skype If you are an accomplished professional with a passion for overseeing and leading multiple IT projects, we would love to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a range of small to medium-sized projects, or a single large-scale project, ensuring the successful delivery of each one. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Acting as a Project Management Office (PMO) resource for DTMB managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development. Creating, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are both logical and resource-driven. Managing the change control process and tracking changes in scope. Identifying project issues and risks, escalating these to senior management when necessary. Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules. What we're looking for: At least 5 years of Project Management Experience. Minimum 3 years of experience with Enterprise Management Tools. Experience with SUITE & SOM is preferred. Proven track record in managing projects of different sizes and risks. Demonstrated consistency with the State of Michigan (SOM) project management, investment management, and systems engineering methodology (SUITE). Thanks & Regards ..
