Role: Java Backend Developer with SSO Location: Remote Experience: 9+Years Type: Contract JOB SUMMARY: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based server-side applications. Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for seamless user authentication and authorization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Ensure code quality, organization, and automation of tasks. Take ownership of assigned tasks, driving them to completion within specified deadlines and quality standards. Proactively identify and address technical challenges, leveraging team members or resources as needed. Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in learning new technologies and solving complex problems. Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Effectively communicate progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders and team members. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot). Experience designing and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using protocols such as OAuth, SAML, or OpenID Connect. Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture, including API design and development. Hands-on experience with MySQL or similar relational databases, including database design, query optimization, and data modeling. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM. Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA. Understanding of security principles and practices in application development, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of server-side applications. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction. Able to collaborate with the team effectively. Good written & oral communication Must have: Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
