| From: Pallavi Singh, Tek Inspirations [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - QA Architect Tallahassee, FL - Onsite Contract: 12 months MUST BE LOCAL TO FL Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is seeking an QA Tester to Lead and manage all aspects of the quality assurance testing process for software projects. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications. Execute manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality expectations. Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA testers to ensure best practices and high-quality work. Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective. Report on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) The submitted candidate(s) must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Preferred Skill Set: Experience in testing web and mobile applications. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter). Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, YAML[JS3] [WB4] ) for test automation purposes. Familiarity in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, XUnit, Apache JMeter, MS Test[WB5] ). Understanding of database concepts and SQL. Experience in testing web and mobile applications. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).[JS6] [WB7] Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 5 years [JS8] of experience in quality assurance testing or a related role. Proven experience in leading and managing software testing projects. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Test Plan). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Minimum of 5 years [JS11] of experience in quality assurance testing or a related role.
