The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Databricks and related technologies. Key Responsibilities: Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure Databricks to process large datasets efficiently. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability for analytics and reporting. Performance Optimization: Optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reduce costs. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Data Governance: Implement best practices for data governance, including data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations. Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and data processes to enhance productivity and ensure accuracy. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architectures, and workflows. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Proven experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse). Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and query optimization. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Cloud Expertise: In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture. Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
