Title: Native iOS frontend Developer Location: San Jose CA / Austin TX (HYBRID) Terms: Contract Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Native iOS Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, high-performance, and robust mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our iOS applications, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications. UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with our UX/UI designers to implement user interfaces that align with our design standards. Code Review: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices. Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and responsiveness. Bug Fixing: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Feature Implementation: Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Continuous Integration: Work on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Documentation: Document code, processes, and development practices. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices in iOS development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C. Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services. Knowledge of Apples design principles and interface guidelines. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
