This role requires a deep understanding of banking regulations, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable procedures. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure our procedures are compliant with current regulations and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Procedure Development and Documentation: Develop and write detailed regulatory control procedures for private and commercial banking operations. Ensure procedures are clear, concise, and easily understood by all relevant stakeholders. Maintain an up-to-date repository of regulatory control procedures, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant with regulatory changes. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and industry standards. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing procedures and update them accordingly. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk management teams to ensure procedures align with regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including compliance, legal, risk management, and operations, to gather necessary information for procedure development. Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business processes and regulatory impacts. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding the implementation of regulatory control procedures. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance, procedure writing, or a related role within the banking industry. Strong knowledge of banking regulations, including but not limited to BSA/AML, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Exceptional writing and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Certification in regulatory compliance or related areas (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) is a plus. Thanks and Regards.
