Role: Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master Duration: 12 Months Location:: Hybrid Onsite 3X Weekly (ALPHARETTA, GA ) MOI:: Virtual Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master with a strong background in Agile methodologies and application technologies. The ideal candidate will also possess extensive knowledge of infrastructure components including network, storage, platform, compute, and databases. Proficiency in JIRA for project tracking and management is essential. This role will be pivotal in driving the successful delivery of complex projects while fostering an Agile culture within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from inception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and executive leadership. Scrum Master Responsibilities: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles. Remove impediments and shield the team from external interferences. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Agile Leadership: Champion Agile methodologies across the organization. Provide training and workshops to teams and stakeholders on Agile practices. Continuously improve and refine Agile processes to enhance team productivity. Application Technologies: Oversee the development and deployment of software applications. Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with project goals. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Infrastructure Expertise: Manage infrastructure projects involving network, storage, platform, compute, and databases. Ensure robust and scalable infrastructure solutions are implemented. Work closely with infrastructure teams to optimize performance and reliability. JIRA Management: Utilize JIRA for project tracking, task assignment, and progress monitoring. Customize JIRA workflows to align with project requirements. Generate JIRA reports and dashboards to provide visibility to stakeholders. Train team members on effective JIRA usage and best practices. Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. Act as a liaison to ensure requirements are understood and met. Promote transparency and open communication within the project team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification. Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and Agile transformations. Strong technical background in application technologies and infrastructure components. Excellent understanding of network, storage, platform, compute, and database technologies. Proficiency in JIRA for project management and tracking. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Skills: PMP certification. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
