Position: UI/UX Designer Location: Jacksonville FL Onsite Duration: 6+ Months Need Local Candidate JOB SUMMARY The Associate UI/UX Designer role contributes to the creation of exceptional digital experiences for client users. It works closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and improve the user interfaces and user experiences of applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze data and gather insights to inform design decisions. Build finished screens using the developed prototypes that can be re-used across multiple lines of business Rapidly produce multiple possible approaches for usability testing, presentation to users and demos Creates wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts. Designs user interfaces that are visually appealing, consistent with branding guidelines, and optimized for usability. Creates high-fidelity mockups and design assets. Defines and designs user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. Conducts usability testing sessions with users to gather feedback and iterate on designs accordingly. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and QA testers, to ensure the successful implementation of designs. Creates and maintains design documentation, style guides, and design specifications to facilitate communication and collaboration. Own the design process end to end Stays up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design tools and technologies. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least four (4) years experience in UI/UX design work. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to interpret user data to make data-driven design decisions.
