Job Title : High Performance Computing (HPC) Platform Consultant Job Type : W2/C2C/1099 Experience : 8-15 Years Location : Fremont, California We are looking for a High Performance Computing (HPC) Platform Consultant who will be responsible to comprehensive support to users across India, Asia, and EU regions. The role involves enhancing platform reliability, optimizing performance, and managing HPC infrastructure aligned with architectural goals. Responsibilities: 8-10 years of experience in High Performance Computing technologies. Experience with parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, Gluster, ZFS). Hands-on experience with MPI implementations (e.g., OpenMPI, MPICH2, IntelMPI) and Infiniband. Experience with engineering simulation tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, etc. Proficiency in HPC environments and parallel computing concepts. Strong Linux administration skills. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios. Programming proficiency, ideally in Python, especially in MPI contexts. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Background in supporting complex simulation products for engineering analysis. Provide expert support for HPC users, focusing on applications like Ansys/Fluent over MPI. Assist users in job tuning and optimization within an HPC environment. Administer Linux systems and manage parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, Gluster, ZFS). Implement and optimize MPI libraries (e.g., OpenMPI, MPICH2, IntelMPI) and Infiniband connectivity. Monitor system health using tools like Nagios; implement improvements based on monitoring insights. Utilize programming skills, particularly in Python, for tasks including MPI programming. Deploy and maintain virtual machines using Azure and Terraform. Independently handle user requests, incidents, and resolutions across global regions (Asia, EU).
