The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our database systems while also contributing to the development and optimization of our data replication strategies. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems, including upgrades and patches. Manage and monitor Golden Gate replication processes to ensure data integrity and high availability. Develop and implement database management automation scripts to include install, config and maintenance jobs using python, and Ansible for configuration management. Develop and maintain Golden Gate/Database code repository using Bitbucket, Jenkins/Cloudbees pipeline. Perform database tuning and performance monitoring to optimize system efficiency. Utilize Python scripting to automate routine DBA tasks and integrate database operations with other systems. Collaborate with development teams to advise on database design and help resolve complex technical issues. Provide 24/7 support for critical database services, ensuring minimal downtime. Document database architectures, configurations, and procedures.
