Skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation. Skill in working collaboratively and cooperatively with key stakeholders and colleagues. Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects. Ability to present information to various audiences, verbally and in writing, and to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively Skills(Required): Required project Management Experience for large-scale complex projects. Required State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience. Skills(Preferred): State of Texas Project Delivery Framework Experience preferred. Knowledge of State of Texas QAT process for major Information Resources project (MIRP) preferred. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred. The project lead must be able to implement standard project management industry practices and understands the PMI framework as well as how to establish a project organization and methodology. They must be familiar with Project Delivery Framework and QAT reporting requirements for major Texas Information Resource projects. The successful candidate understands business and technical objectives and works closely with multiple key project business and technical stakeholders as well as third party Vendors. The project lead will coordinate the activities across multiple projects and be expected to communicate to program customers and IT teams and must develop strong relationships with key decision-makers; coordinate activities between third party vendors and multiple state programs and IT teams; identify dependencies between multiple projects and develops plans to mitigate risks; create project timelines, project tracking documents, and other related project artifacts, as necessary.
