The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for developing system documentation such as requirements specifications, process flows, use cases, system Integration flows, data flows, project plans, user manuals, and training procedures. The IT Business Systems Analyst understands business requirements and often serves as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring - Elicitation & Collaboration - Requirements Life Cycle Management - Strategy Analysis - Requirements Analysis - Data Analysis - Solution Evaluation Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience. Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related program from an accredited institution required. Expertise in developing Business, functional, User, and Quality-of-service requirements. Skilled in conducting facilitated workshops for requirements analysis. Experience creating workflows and graphic representations of complex business processes. Experience in functional solutioning based on the requirements. Skills Requires technical, analytical, and process skills. Requires interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft PC desktop applications including Excel, Word, MS Project, and Visio. Knowledge Understanding of Agile methodologies Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies. Knowledge of project management principles and practices. Understanding of how to interpret needs of stakeholders correctly. Responsibilities Work with business partners within one or more business organizations to align solutions with business needs. Support one or more moderate to complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business. Progress liaison relationship with business and IT. Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements. Provide support in research, and documentation for the analysis of business satisfaction. Assist with leading the investigation and statement of problems. Escalates issues as appropriate. Serve as a lead one or more moderately complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business. Establish and maintain liaison relationships with business and IT to provide effective solutions. Lead the assessment of business needs a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes). Lead development and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the design and implementation of business solutions. Provide suggestions from a business and IT perspective. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Conduct feasibility studies and draft proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers. Ensure the strategies involve appropriate integration and process components. Investigate problems and resolves working in conjunction with technical teams. May manage stakeholder expectations and analyze performance metrics to ensure stakeholder satisfaction. May generate appropriate communication, process, and plans for mitigating the disruption of change. Participate in IT solution deployment activities. Ensures IT solutions meet business needs.
