Job Description: Position : Sr DevOps Engineer Location : Seattle, WA or Vancouver, Canada Hybrid: 23-Day Onsite F2F Interview Duration : 6 to 12 months At the time of submission, H1/EAD applicants must provide their passport number. Need Locals to Seattle, WA - F2F Interview Qualifications: Plan and execute the transition of applications, infrastructure, and tooling from legacy systems to modern enterprise platforms and cloud solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Implement and maintain observability tools to track application performance, infrastructure health, and system metrics. Manage and optimize deployments within the enterprise Kubernetes environment. Define, build, and manage infrastructure resources using IaC tools like Terraform Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Ensure the smooth running of production systems, including incident management, patching, scaling, and capacity planning. Design and implement cloud-native architectures, including event-driven systems and serverless services in OCI (Oracle Cloud), AWS, Azure Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements. Automate tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Work closely with development teams to align processes, tooling, and best practices. Qualifications: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS is required certifications are plus, Azure and OCI are preferred) Experience with of event-driven architecture and microservices. Experience with Python for scripting and automation. Experience with observability tools including working with instrumentation, APM, synthetic testing and the likes (Datadog preferred) Experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred) Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred) Proficient in deploying, and managing Kafka client applications for seamless real-time data streaming and processing. Deep understanding and implementation of security best practices, including secure coding, access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
