Lead GoldenGate SME & Python & Oracle BD Suite (Oracle DBA) Location: Manassas, VA (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possibility of Full Time) Visa: Only GC/USC Interview procedure: Skype for Non Local Top 3 skills: Manager is looking for a Golden Gates SME, someone with Administration and Development skills who can be a Lead, mentoring others on the team, as no one has the Golden Gates skillset and its also very important that this person has good communication and willingness to speak and up and share thoughts and ideas on where to take this. TOP 3 Technologies Required: Golden Gate Functional Python Oracle BD (Big Data) suite if theyre a true Golden Gates SME they will have a good experience with the suite. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database systems, including upgrades and patches. Manage and monitor Golden Gate replication processes to ensure data integrity and high availability. Develop and implement database management automation scripts to include install, config and maintenance jobs using python, and Ansible for configuration management. Develop and maintain Golden Gate/Database code repository using Bitbucket, Jenkins/Cloudbees pipeline. Perform database tuning and performance monitoring to optimize system efficiency. Utilize Python scripting to automate routine DBA tasks and integrate database operations with other systems Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with 8+ years focusing on Golden Gate replication environments. Proficiency in Python scripting for database task automation and system integration. Familiarity with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with Oracle 19c and 21c databases. Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
