From: Heena Khan, iinfiniti [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: QA Analyst Job Type: Contract (6+ months) Job Location: Livermore, CA Work Schedule: Onsite 5 days a week Commercial banking applications testing experience Fiserv, Q2, or other platforms, ACH, Payments, wire transfer, money movement UAT Manual testing Functional testing Writing , creating test cases The Quality Assurance Analyst Digital service will work under minimal direction to plan, coordinate and participate in the user acceptance testing of applications to verify that programs function according to set specifications and standards. Responsibilities: Hands-on involvement in all phases of product development, including planning, design, implementation, and execution of manual and automated tests, defect logging and verification and reporting results. Work with BA to understand functional design and requirements. Evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the online banking system. Develop the overall test plan, what will happen in each testing phase and impacted areas. Work with BA, SME, and program tester to create user acceptance test cases. Conduct functional testing of business online banking applications to ensure they meet specified requirements. Create the appropriate data and pre-conditions in the test and staging environments to support the testing effort. Execute the test cases in the appropriate environment. Record detailed test results of pass and fail scenarios. Identify usability issues and provide recommendations for improvements. Ensure the platform is intuitive and user-friendly for business customers. Work with existing QA to develop automation frameworks and test suites to test the products and services, working with engineering, QA, system architects, product owners, and others. Understand frameworks, approaches, and test strategies used by peer teams; leverage, extend, and share wherever possible. Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Communicate and support all project-related information in a timely and professional manner as dictated by team need and testing processes. Coordinate with teams across the software and systems group to assure end-to-end verification of functionality across all systems components. When a planned testing phase is complete, prepare the test summary report. Smoke-test the deployed solution to ensure it is working correctly. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Qualifications: 5+ years industry experience in QA or Software Engineering 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and executing automated tests Strong understanding of banking operations and online banking systems. Experience using common automation frameworks. Experience with Fiserv integrated applications and Q2 applications is a big plus. Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Comfortable engaging cross-functional partners including development teams, system architects, product management, and Support. Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset. Familiarity with version control, bug tracking, and CI / CD systems and procedure Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
