| Web Application Developer Remote Citizen / GC /H4 EAD $70 - $75 Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications across all stages, from initial conceptualization to deployment and ongoing support. Independently create and implement new user interfaces (UI) and user experience (UX) elements using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Review, modify, and enhance existing codebases, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices. Integrate web applications with backend databases using SQL queries and server-side scripting languages. Develop and maintain web services and APIs to facilitate communication with external systems. Implement robust security measures to protect user data and application integrity. Leverage cloud-hosted resources like Azure, AWS, and Microsoft SQL Server for scalable and reliable deployments. Utilize .NET Maui and Xamarin to create native mobile applications that seamlessly integrate with web services. Actively participate in the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) process, collaborating with designers, testers, and other developers. Troubleshoot complex development and production issues, ensuring smooth application operation. Contribute to team knowledge sharing by mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance. Maintain up-to-date skills through continuous learning and pursue relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) App Builder or equivalent. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development. 2+ years of experience supporting SDLC environments using tools such as .Net Framework, Visual Studio, HTML 5, CSS, JSON, XML, and SQL Server. Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying web applications that meet client requirements. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. Solid knowledge of web development frameworks and server-side scripting languages. Experience with Git version control and other DevOps tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively. Passion for staying current with emerging technologies in the web development landscape.
