| Job Title: Application Architect Location: Dallas/Frisco or Bellevue / Seattle Application Architecture with DevOps Exposure and GraphQL Java or Node.js Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in either Java or Node.js and GraphQL, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires a blend of technical leadership and practical development skills. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in engineering/computer science or relevant experience. 10+ years of experience with highly scalable application architectures. Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Develop and document high-level and detailed application architecture designs tailored to the client's needs. Technology Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the client's development teams, ensuring best practices in application development and adherence to architectural standards. Hands-on Development: Actively participate in coding and development using Java or Node.js and GraphQL to build robust applications. System Integration: Design and implement integration strategies for various systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance issues, ensuring applications meet performance and scalability requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with client stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and define system specifications. Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation to support the architecture and development processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovative solutions to the client. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices and serverless architectures. Proficiency in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly desirable. Experience with Big Data technologies is added plus. Experience with AI/ML is added plus. Experience with Greenfield projects is added plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with client teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications in Java, Node.js, or cloud technologies. Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
