Oracle/ PL SQL Developer Tampa FL - Onsite Long Term contract Client: Tech M Oracle PL/SQL Developer Performing initial data migration, subsequent delta migrations and validating the data been converted. Extracting data from different data sources Oracle, Access databases and Excel spreadsheets, transformed and mapped nonstandard data to standard codes for data integrity and loaded the target Oracle database. Ability to script using python to extract the data from different data sources. Loading data from flat files into Oracle tables using SQLLDR. Performing Data integrity, validation and testing on the data migrated. Creating Shell Scripts for invoking SQL scripts to refresh data from remote databases using DB link and scheduled them using Crontab. Automating the migration process using shell scripts to run whenever required. Creating and Converting Complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers and exception handling from MySQL to Oracle. Trouble shooting performance issues using Explain Plan, Indexes, Optimizing, and tuning PLSQL subprograms to reduce the loading process. Partitioning large tables and creating local and global indexes for improving performance. Maintained users, roles and privileges for database objects.
