Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: Palo Alto Prisma Engineer Location: Roseland, NJ or Alpharetta, GA 3 days onsite per week Duration: 9-12Months VISA: NO H1B/CPT -----------------JOB DESCRIPTION ------------------------- Position Summary: As a Senior Level SASE Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SASE solutions. Your expertise in SASE cloud security platforms will be critical in guiding through the digital transformation journey, enhancing their security posture, and enabling secure and seamless remote access for their workforce. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with industry best practices and meet our unique cybersecurity needs. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments current network and security infrastructure to determine the most effective integration of SASE solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to understand their security challenges and develop tailored strategies for implementing SASE solutions in line with their objectives. Provide expert guidance on security best practices and help teams optimize their usage of the platform to achieve maximum security and performance benefits. Assist in configuring and deploying SASE services, including Web Security, Cloud Firewall, Private Access, and Data Loss Prevention, among others. Perform in-depth troubleshooting and issue resolution related to SASE deployments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to clients' operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in SASE technology to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise. Provide training/knowledge transfer to the client's engineering/support team. Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in networking in large, global enterprise environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or related roles. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto Prisma Access cloud security platform Demonstrated understanding of network protocols, security protocols, and architecture principles. Relevant certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) or similar certifications are highly desirable. Strong experience configuring ZTNA within applications. Proven track record of successfully leading SASE deployments and projects, preferably in an architect capacity. Proficient understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Experience with VPNs, Firewalls, and network security principles. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and diverse environments. Additional experience with the following is a plus: Proxy & URL/Content filtering solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Bluecoat, Websense, iboss, Palo Alto Prisma Access or similar) ZTNA Solutions Remote access VPN Firewalls DLP SSL Inspection SAML IdP Differentiators: Vast experience managing very large environments Extensive private sector experience in Financial Services and other sectors Provide solutions that lower costs, improve productivity, and reduce risks Extensive global industry contacts the right resources Personal Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills.
