| Performance Tester Onsite in Menands, NY 1 Year No H1B and CPT Need 2 REFERENCES Provide a complete list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Consultant: The Expert Tester will manage all testing activities, including UI, automated, load, integration, performance and scalability testing for the SERVNY application; manage all preparation and execution of test documentation; efficiently develop test plans/scope, test scenarios, test cases and comprehensive test data; identify technical and functional software defects and work with Business Analyst and development team to log and resolve these defects using defect/issue tracking software; keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities. Operating under the direction of the Business Analyst, the Expert Tester will: Manage all testing activities, including UI, automated, load, integration, performance and scalability testing for the SERVNY application Manage all preparation and execution of test documentation Efficiently develop test plans/scope, test scenarios, test cases and comprehensive test data Identify technical and functional software defects and work with Business Analyst and development team to log and resolve these defects using defect/issue tracking software Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities Position Skill Level Description: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field List Position REQUESTED Qualifications: 7 years conducting functional, technical and performance testing for web applications 5 years performing defect management 5 years experience creating and executing test plans, scenarios and test cases 2 years experience creating automated testing scripts 2 years experience using issue tracking tools such as Redmine or Jira 1 year experience using SQL What type and/or manner, of knowledge transfer is requested during the Engagement: Consultant will work with staff and transfer knowledge to state staff or their other consultants. Conducting technical training sessions. Conducting one-on-one technical training. Developing testing guidelines / standards. Developing user guides distributing them to co-workers.
