Job Title: Mainframe Administrator Location: Rockville, MD OR McLean, VA Duration: 6+Months Contract Technical/Functional Skills: Analyze the current batch environment for the defined jobs and the number of cyclic jobs and executions Check all the jobs are valid and required for executions. If any obsolete jobs and which are not executed for longer days, work with application team and delete the jobs permanently Site Standards rules to control the job definition by enforcing restrictions Observe repetitive job failures, analyze the jobs log and output and update the jobs with on-do actions if the jobs are failing with specific return code or message.
