Title : Senior Data Analyst Location : 100% Remote EST time zone We are seeking Data Stewards to play a pivotal role in supporting the efforts of a DC-based Health and Human Services client. This is a fully remote position. The selected candidates will be responsible for the following: Skills and Experience: Expertise in data management principles, concepts, and practices. Ability to determine business data requirements, create data standards, and develop business rules. Knowledge of human services and healthcare programs . Experience working with multiple agency stakeholders with diverse data requirements. Familiarity with public policy issues related to human services data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of statistics and research methodology. Ability to drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to various stakeholders. Experience in data structure, information systems/tools, and enterprise content management. Broad experience in domains such as data warehousing, business intelligence, data governance, data architecture, data integration, data quality management, data security and privacy, and enterprise architecture frameworks. Must Have: 16+ yrs planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities 16+ yrs leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience 8 yrs. Experience with ETL tools - Design, Develop, Analyze 3 yrs. Exp. with Curam software - V6 or higher (Database centric work highly desired) 8 yrs. Proven work experience working as a senior/lead data analyst for large data sets and multiple interfaces 8 yrs. Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts 5 yrs. Experience with Tableau, dashboard design and develop 4 yrs. Strong experience in Government Healthcare Data 8 yrs. Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions 8 yrs. Working knowledge of writing functional, technical and performance requirements in software development environment. 16 yrs. Possess hands on Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience highly desired Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio to develop flow diagrams/ process diagrams as well as knowledge of the full MS Office Suite - Nice to have.
