From: Vivek Paliwal, kpg99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Rate : $45/hr on c2c Mention visa and location No h1 Role : Mainframe Scheduler Location : 100% Remote (EST/CST candidates only) Duration : Long term Visa : No h1 Job Description: Do not apply if have not designed and managed CA ESP-D schedules on Windows/Linux systems Position Summary Client needs someone with hands-on experience designing and managing CA ESP-D schedules in Windows/Linux Servers, with experience working on both Windows Application Server and Mainframe Server. Experience installing Workload Automation Server D Series application on Windows Server. Needs to have experience with Windows and be able to help analyze application issues as well as understanding automation. Also, can coordinate quarterly maintenance activity with the applications teams and mainframe hosting partner. The mainframe hosting partner runs the zOS version of the product, the client does not maintain it. Therefore, someone with the zOS maintenance background would be a plus but not required. Experience on the mainframe is needed also to support the application developers and to coordinate activity with the hosting partner. Experience with Automation and Scheduling packages. Hands-on experience managing 'CA Workload Automation DE' (aka ESP) software running on Windows. Experience installing Workload Automation Server D Series application on Windows Server. Experience installing and applying service packs to that package. Creating, Managing and Analyzing scheduled jobs. Experience with Mainframe CA Workload Automation (ESP). Experience with Mainframe zOS utilities for code promotion, source code management (Librarian), data set management, submitting, monitoring and analyzing zOS jobs and services.
