| Need Loal to NC City :: (Full Onsite) Title :: SQL Developer - Teradata Location :: Charlotte, NC (Only Local)(Onsite) Duration :: 6 Months (40 Hours weekly but might goes to 50 Hours/Week for some weeks) VISA :: No H1 & CPT Interview :: Phone/Video We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with extensive Teradata expertise. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in SQL development and Teradata, with a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and database systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling. Key Responsibilities: SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business requirements. Teradata Expertise: Utilize advanced Teradata features and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Data Warehousing: Design and implement data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity, quality, and accessibility. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource management. ETL Processus : Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow from source systems to data warehouses. Data Modeling: Create and maintain logical and physical data models, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience in SQL development, with a significant focus on Teradata. Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and Teradata SQL. Strong knowledge of Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, TPT). Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, etc.). Knowledge of data modeling tools and techniques. Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Teradata. Understanding of big data technologies and frameworks is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Preferred Qualifications: Teradata certification is a plus. Experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure) is an advantage. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
