Role: Java Backend Developer Location: Peapack, NJ (Onsite) Duration: Long term contract Summary: Developer should be responsible for high performance, fine grained micro service development. Responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical business systems / application services and modules. Delivering high-availability and performance. We expect him/her to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle including writing well designed, testable, efficient code. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. Developer responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 6-10 years java development experience with JSE/JEE, Java based Micro-services framework and implementation, Java, Spring framework, Hibernate framework,Node.js & SQL etc., Hands on experience on Spring boot & Microservices systems with Java, Spring or Node.js Strong knowledge of micro-service logging, monitoring, debugging and testing Implementations experience of micro-service integration, packaging, build automation and deployment Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot) Must have skills: Very strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, ORM Tools, and Cloud technologies Experience of Java Microservices development and overall architecture Experience with SOA and Web Services (REST/SOAP) Experience with designing, implementing, and deploying microservices in distributed systems Good to have knowledge and experience of deploying to application in AWS Cloud using Jenkins, Docker Strong knowledge and experience with SQL queries and databases like PostgreSQL / SQL Server.
