Job Role: Network engineer with Azure Duration: 6 months contract Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite F2F Interview is Mandatory Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with extensive experience in Azure and on-prem network management. This position requires a professional who can seamlessly integrate and manage both environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Responsibilities: Configure and manage virtual networks in Azure. Implement network security and access controls in Azure and on-premises environments. Optimize network performance and troubleshoot network issues. Integrate on-premises networks with Azure. Manage Azure networking, including IP, metadata, and configuration management. Utilize network management tooling effectively. Handle network alerting and configuration management. Manage and configure firewalls, with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto. Troubleshoot network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Requirements: 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto: Expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls, including rule sets, VPNs, and security profiles. Azure Networking Expertise: Proven experience in managing and configuring Azure virtual networks, including subnets, route tables, and network security groups (NSGs). Network Security: Strong skills in implementing and managing network security measures in both Azure and on-premises environments. Azure Access Controls: Experience with Azure role-based access control (RBAC) and other identity and access management solutions. Network Management: Proficiency in network alerting, monitoring, and configuration management tools. Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner. Integration Experience: Demonstrated ability to integrate on-premises networks with Azure, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing network performance for both Azure and on-premises environments. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address and resolve network-related issues effectively.
