VISA- No H1B 12+ month contract looking for an IT Portfolio Manager for a local to Michigan Financial company. This a 12+ month contract and this person will be required be on-site in Troy, MI (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Experience Level: More than 10 years Candidates must have Banking, Regulatory and Governance experience . Skills & Job Responsibilities Provides subject matter expertise and leadership for implementation of strategic and project management initiatives with a focus on achieving strategic goals as well as Advises and Coach Program Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure optimal performance, compliance to standard processes and procedures SME and Leadership on Project Management best practices, delivery management, risk and issues Design and execution of the project management disciplines within the PMO Act as SME on project management policies and procedures Develop and implement standards, procedures, system monitors and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all corporate project initiatives Maintains methodology that adapts to changing project management priorities and allows for management of enterprise risks and impact Advises on project management positions across IT. Ongoing improvement and development data that provide metrics to measure portfolio health from initiation to deployment. Develop and maintain project and portfolio metrics that feed divisional dashboards used by the CIO and IT Directors for executive project reporting and provide measures and metrics used to assess the performance of the Project Management team.
