Job Title: Batch Monitoring Location: McLean, VA (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Key Responsibilities: Analyze the current batch environment for the defined jobs and the number of cyclic jobs and executions Check all the jobs are valid and required for executions. If any obsolete jobs and which are not executed for longer days, work with application team and delete the jobs permanently Site Standards rules to control the job definition by enforcing restrictions Observe repetitive job failures, analyze the jobs log and output and update the jobs with on-do actions if the jobs are failing with specific return code or message. Recommended to perform batch jobs assessment for better automation/optimization analysis to reduce the YoY incidents/requests Housekeeping jobs to generate the alerts report and the batch jobs workflow Proactive monitoring with ESP for delays and errors in the batch jobs processing Generate batch failure report and see the repetitive failures and take the corrective action with an appropriate application teams Eliminate risk and errors Reduction in alerts/tickets Proactive monitoring and to maintain continuous batch jobs processing Eliminate the unused batch jobs Maintain a clean batch environment Enterprise batch scheduling Batch job properties modifications/updates upon request Service Requests Processing Participate in Major incidents impact batch processing Change ticket processing, JCL changes, Batch job set up, testing in lower environment, change management, incident management, training, etc. Thanks & Regards, Pradeep Sharma Email: [email protected] Keywords: golang Virginia Batch Monitoring [email protected] |
