ERP Transformation Test Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of ERP systems by leading testing efforts, managing resources, mitigating risks, and fostering collaboration among project stakeholders. Lead testing activities throughout the project life cycle from initiation to delivery and closure. Conduct design workshops, requirements review sessions, and design reviews with business analysts, system architects, and application engineers to establish rapport and provide support using appropriate verification and validation techniques. Oversee testing activities throughout the project life cycle from initiation to delivery and closure. Test Planning and Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive test strategy aligned with the ERP transformation goals and objectives. Define the scope of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements to ensure adequate test coverage. Test Management: Oversee the entire testing process from planning to execution and closure. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications. Establish and maintain testing schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor and control testing activities to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the testing lifecycle. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to facilitate smooth testing processes. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and provide status updates. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of the ERP system by identifying defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Implement best practices and standards for testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Conduct reviews of test artifacts to verify compliance with quality standards and requirements. Desired skills: 12+ years experience in SAP Testing. 15+ years experience in IT industry. Proficiency in SAP ERP modules such as SAP ECC (Enterprise Core Components), SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management), SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management), etc. In-depth understanding of SAP testing tools and methodologies, including SAP Solution Manager, SAP Test Workbench, SAP CBTA (Component-Based Test Automation), SAP TAO (Test Acceleration and Optimization), etc. Certification in Tricentis Tosca, Qtest and experience in Live Compare is a MUST. Experience with SAP integration technologies, interfaces, and data migration processes. Knowledge of SAP BASIS (Business Application Software Integrated Solution) administration and SAP security concepts is advantageous. SAP Certification: Possession of relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP Certified Development Associate, or SAP Certified Technology Associate, depending on the specific module(s) involved in the ERP transformation project.
