(Local with DL) Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. Maintains database dictionaries and integrates systems through database design. Maintains and documents shell scripts and batch processes. Ensures that documentation is complete and up-to-date. Develops and applies procedures for periodic database backup. Requirements: 3 years Experience using relational databases Experience retrieving data to perform management and reporting duties. SQL Knowledge Oracle database knowledge including advanced functions and features Knowledge of Oracle, and similar databases., Proficient Ability to communicate effectively with analysts, developers, tests, and project managers in both oral and written form. Ability to work minimal supervision High-level of analytical and troubleshooting skills Microsoft Office applications. SQL Knowledge of structured query language (SQL).
