WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER WITH AN

INFRASTRUCTURE BACKGROUND. 

PLEASE HAVE CANDIDATE DO A BRIEF WRITE UP OF THEIR EXPERIENCE

BELOW.

SKILLS NEEDED:

*Vendor portfolio is around hardware maintenance and support.

*Invoice tracking, reviews, approvals.

Collaborating with internal infrastructure teams. The help desk groups.

*Resource needs to have strong financial reporting and tracking ex (BI and

excel tools ex.) Take large amounts of data and summarize in a meaningful way.

*Needs someone with Supplier, performance management background.

*Tracking of spend management.

The VMO Program Manager will coordinate and direct the activities of a cross

functional team that is responsible for the development and management of

information technology statements-of-work that define large system

implementation consulting assignments

In addition, the Program Manager is responsible for ongoing supplier

management, monitoring supplier performance against contractual service level

agreements and key performance indicators.

A critical aspect of the Program Managers role is effective coordination of

the Vendor Management Office, a cross-functional team comprised of Senior IT

Managers, Finance Managers, Business Stakeholders, Resource Management

Professionals, Procurement Managers, and partner personnel. This requires excellent

project management, communication, analytic, and facilitation skills.

SKILLS

Communication/Presentation skills; Able to communicate effectively in various

channels, i.e. large meeting facilitation, one-on-one negotiations, written and

electronic communications.

Program management skills; Provide structure for sourcing program governance

(tracking, reporting on, and impacting vendor performance to budget, schedule,

and deliverables). Define key procurement program indicators, track them, and

report on these KPIs in a way that provides actionable insight for senior

management.

Negotiation skills; Ability to lead successful negotiations with an ability

to define and build consensus for beneficial outcomes for all negotiating

parties.

Analytical ability; Ability to synthesize various points-of-view and large

amounts of data into coherent action plans, operational targets and program

policies. Ability to generate actionable contract and spend analyses.

Influencing/Interpersonal skill; Ability to influence (and by influencing,

lead) a matrix team comprised of business stakeholders and multiple suppliers.

Thought Leadership/Strategic Agility; Develop collaborative relationships

with multiple suppliers within a fast-paced, evolving program. Ability to

motivate suppliers to operate collaboratively within a competitive business

environment.

Global mindset

Ability to work effectively with senior management
