The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in frontend development, leading teams, and a strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to be local to Chicago. Responsibilities: Lead a team of frontend developers, providing guidance and mentorship. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend services. Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Create, query, and manipulate databases, and develop and integrate APIs. Work on cloud-based solutions and deployment (Azure Cloud, AKS, ACA, Kubernetes). Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Required Skills: Experience: 10+ years as a Frontend Developer, with at least 5 years in a lead role. Frontend Technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React.js. API Development: Proficient in Spring Boot, Apollo, Node.js. Databases: Experience with Oracle, Cosmos, Neo4j. Cloud: Expertise in Azure Cloud, AKS, ACA, Kubernetes. Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills. Proven experience in frontend and backend integration. Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with remote teams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
